Travel chaos as 'new river' appears at Kennington
Monday morning got off to a bad start for residents in Kennington, south London, after a burst water main caused a huge flood on Kennington Park Road.
Described as "a new river" in a tweet by Transport for London, there are major traffic delays in the area as Thames Water investigates.
Businesses on the street have been unable to open their front doors and some local residents have complained that they have been left without water as a result of the flood.
The London Fire Brigade firefighters are using booms and pumps to deal with the flood.
