Man in niqab, carrying Peppa Pig rucksack, led away in handcuffs after bomb scare

A man dressed in a niqab, carrying Peppa Pig rucksack, has been arrested after a bomb scare in Hertfordshire.

Large parts of Watford were evacuated as a bomb disposal squad was called in. The suspect was carrying two rucksacks, one branded with the children's character.

Herts Police are still advising motorists to avoid the town centre.
