Couple stumble across giant outdoor cannabis farm while having a romantic stroll in a park
A couple on a romantic stroll were baffled when they stumbled upon an outdoor cannabis farm in a London park.
Oscar Lerin, 35, was out for a walk with his girlfriend when they strayed a few metres off the path in the Epping Forest in search of mushrooms.
But they couldn't believe their eyes when they found themselves in the middle of a patch of around 70 professionally cultivated adult marijuana plants.
Oscar and his girlfriend, who has asked not to be named, snapped a few cheeky photographs crouched amongst the strong-smelling leaves before continuing with their walk. Engineer Oscar, from Essex, said:
The couple made the discovery on Saturday morning in a patch of woodland just metres from a school in Bunces Lane, Woodford Green, Essex.> The park is a former royal forest on the border between north-east Greater London and Essex and managed by City of London Corporation.
