15-month-old girl held at knife-point during armed raid
A 15-month-old girl has been held at knife-point during an armed raid.
A burglar pretending to be from a water company tied and bound a 31-year-old woman at her home in Uxbridge, west London, holding a knife to her toddler daughter's throat.
The suspect demanded valuables and was later joined by a woman who helped search the house during the raid on Friday evening last week.
Two people arrived at the home of a 31-year-old woman in Harlington Road in Uxbridge at around 5pm on Friday, 31 October.
After answering the door and going to the kitchen the victim heard her 15-month-old daughter scream. She turned around and saw the man holding a knife to her young daughter, before asking: "Where is the gold?"
The terrified mother's wrists and ankles were tied up and her daughter was put in the bathroom.
The man was then joined by a female accomplice and they began to search the house, eventually making off with jewellery.
The mother and daughter were found by neighbours after 50 minutes.
