In the age of Facebook, iPads and online gaming most parents know how difficult it can be to get their children reading. But new research shows children's interest in books is actually on the up.

To keep the momentum going 50 benches shaped like books have popped up all over London.

They're painted to celebrate famous stories, including classics like the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Peter Pan and How to Train Your Dragon.
