Arctic Monkeys blasted after homes 'start vibrating'
Angry residents have blasted the Arctic Monkeys after speakers at their concert were so loud homes were left vibrating over four miles away. Homes were left shaking following the two night concert, with the council blaming the wind for the problems.
Music levels showed the performance at Finsbury Park, north London, was the loudest ever - despite the venue hosting rock legends such as Jimi Hendrix, The Sex Pistols, Limp Bizkit and Rage Against the Machine in the past.
Furious residents kept awake by last Friday and Saturday's gigs complained on Twitter about the Arctic Monkeys show, watched by 110,000 fans.
But some fans were happy they were being treated to a free concert - including local MP David Lammy who wrote:
The local council even set up a dedicated hotline to deal with noise complaints for the event.
