Tom Daley's move to London is a significant coup
Diver Tom Daley's move to London is a significant coup for the new operators of the Olympic Aquatics Centre.
The £0.5bn venue opens to the public on March 1st. Daley will team up with a new coach, Jane Figueiredo, to focus on his medal challenge at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The poster boy of British diving experienced highs and lows in the Aquatics Centre during London 2012. He and fellow diver Pete Waterfield failed to win a medal in the 10m synchronised event.
But Daley later went on to claim bronze as a solo competitor.
