Empty chair at the GLA causes confusion

The new Deputy Mayor for Policing has come under fire from members of the Assembly's Policing and Crime Committee.

Stephen Greenhalg told Metropolitan Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe he did not need to attend the meeting.

Mr Geenhalg then told the committee that they should hold him to account on policing matters, but when faced with questions he failed to answer many of them.
