Man's body found on Deansgate in Manchester

Police have closed parts of Deansgate in Manchester city centre after a man's body was found.

Several police vehicles and ambulances are at the scene.

There are currently road closures in place including Deansgate with the junctions of Peter St (A34) and Jackson’s Row.

Police say people should try and avoid the area.
