Vehicle fire on Isle of Man closes busy route

A road on the Isle of Man has reopened following a vehicle bursting into flames.

Emergency services attended the red van engulfed in flames between Bucks Road and Christian Road in Douglas earlier today.

Police have confirmed that Bucks Road has now re-opened.

No statement has yet been given by the IOM Fire and Rescue Service.
