Craig Cash to take the stage with Early Doors

We know the north west has produced some incredible talent and BAFTA award winning writer and producer Craig Cash is most certainly one of them.

Most people know him for his portrayal of the 'nice but dim' character Dave from the Royle Family, a series which he created and co-wrote with his friend, the late Caroline Aherne, almost twenty years ago.

Now Craig is preparing to head to the stage next year with 'Early Doors'- another of his comedy sitcoms.

Our Entertainment Correspondent, Caroline Whitmore caught up with Craig and co-writer Phil Mealey over a swift half.
