Manchester Arena terror attack

22 people have been killed and 59 have been injured in the blast at Manchester Arena. Children are among the dead. The attack was carried out by a lone male suicide bomber who detonated an improvised explosive device. He died at the arena.

Family pay tribute to Eilidh MacLeod killed in terror attack

The family of Eilidh MacLeod have paid tribute to her. The 14-year-old from from the Isle of Barra in Scotland was at the Ariana Grande concert on Monday night, when a suicide bomb was detonated.

“Our family is devastated and words cannot express how we feel at losing our darling Eilidh.

“Eilidh was vivacious and full of fun. She loved all music whether it was listening to Ariana or playing the bagpipes with her pipe band.

“As a family we would like to express our thanks and gratitude for the support and kind messages we have received at this difficult time.”
