Manchester Arena terror attack

22 people have been killed and 59 have been injured in the blast at Manchester Arena. Children are among the dead. The attack was carried out by a lone male suicide bomber who detonated an improvised explosive device. He died at the arena.

Decision to hold Manchester Run to be made in next 24-hours

The company that runs the Great Manchester Run, Arcadis Great CityGames, has confirmed it will decide whether the Run will go ahead this Sunday in the next 24-hours.

Installation work for the event, which takes place on Deansgate, will commence on the evening of Tuesday 23rd May, continuing over the course of the week.

A decision regarding the staging of the Great Manchester Run, due to be staged on Sunday 28 May, is expected in the next 24 hours.
