Body found in canal near Old Trafford
Police and paramedics have been called to Old Trafford after a body was spotted in nearby water.
Divers are preparing to search the Bridgewater Canal near Trafford Wharf Road.
Police cars and ambulances are outside Victoria Warehouse but the venue have confirmed they are not involved in the incident.
It is understood a body was seen by people on a boat this morning.
Emergency services were at the scene soon after 9am.
