It's exactly fifty years since the speed ace Donald Campbell died while attempting to break his own world water speed record on Coniston water in the Lake District.

Authors of the definitive book on the crash spent years studying the accident in minute detail.

'Bluebird' was transported by Stockport firm Robert Walker Haulage Ltd, not an easy task with such a valuable load.
