Body of woman found in Liverpool Dock 'not suspicious' say cops

Police have confirmed that the body that was found in the Canning Half Tide Dock, Liverpool yesterday morning, is that of a woman from the Merseyside area who is in her 30s.

Her next of kin have now been informed and formal identification is expected to take place later today.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
