Police investigate students sudden death in Manchester

Police are investigating the sudden death of a student at Manchester College.

Police joined paramedics in responding to the incident at the campus on Rochdale Road.

The girl, whose age has not been disclosed, was declared dead at the scene.

At this stage police say the death is being treated as unexplained.

A GMP spokesman said the girl's family is being offered specialist support at this time and support is also being offered to teachers and students.”
