Terminally ill mum close to beating cancer

We seem to have reported many stories of people battling against cancer who find they're forced to seek expensive treatment abroad because the NHS here can't help them.

So next tonight - the woman from Manchester who's somehow raised

Pauline Gahan from Manchester and her family refused to give up when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Wellwishers have already raised £250,000 for treatment in Germany.
