Wallasey Labour Party suspended

Wallasey Constituency Labour Party has been suspended after a number of complaints of bullying.

The constituency, which is represented by Angela Eagle, has seen unrest amongst members since Eagle challenged Jeremy Corbyn for the Labour leadership.

Wallasey Labour Party Vice-Chair Paul Davies says he strongly denies allegations of bullying and intimidation following the CLP's suspension by party bosses.

Wallasey Constituency Labour Party suspended

Wallasey Constituency Labour Party has been suspended after a number of complaints of bullying.

The constituency, which is represented by Angela Eagle, has seen unrest amongst members since Eagle challenged Jeremy Corbyn for the Labour leadership.

It now means the regional Labour Party will take over the administration of the Wallasey constituency party.

The North West Labour party earlier confirmed the suspension.

Any complaints of bullying or intimidation and allegations of misconduct are always taken very seriously.
