Zoo owner loses licence

The owner of the South Lakes Safari Zoo in Cumbria has been stripped of his licence to run a zoo. Councillors rejected David Gill's licence renewal, after inspectors found serious failings.

The partner of Sarah McClay, a zookeeper who was killed by a tiger in 2003, says the decision provides some comfort.
