The 90-year-old football hero who made history more than half a century ago

Tony Collins was the first black manager in English football.

When Tony Collins was appointed Rochdale boss in 1960, he was the first black manager in English football.

He guided the club to the 1962 League Cup Final before going on to work as chief scout for Manchester United, unearthing one or two big names in the process.

Now aged 90, his fascinating story is being told in a new book.
