Police called to 'baby dolphin' washed up at Blackpool

Police have been called to Blackpool beach following reports a baby dolphin had washed up and was still alive on the sand opposite the Norbreck Castle.

A number of dolphins had been seen recently off the coast at the seaside town but this little fella turned out to be a harbour porpoise. After help from British Divers Marine Life Rescue team they managed to get the baby to swim back out to sea.
