House shot at in Huyton

Police are hunting a gunman who shot at a house in the Huyton area of Merseyside last night.

Officers say that a number of shots were fired at the house on Page Moss Avenue at eleven o'clock while the homeowners were in bed. The man and woman inside weren't injured, but have been left shaken.

The house is cordoned off while forensics officers carry out an examination of the scene. Police are keen to speak to two men who were seen on a motorbike nearby.
