A Manchester United fan loves his team so much he's commissioned a Lego artist to build him his very own replica of Old Trafford.

The scale model used up 2,500 bricks and took a fortnight to complete.

The replica was built by 'Brickstand' aka Chris Smith, from Altrincham, who plans to build all 92 league grounds eventually.

Chris says building Old Trafford from scratch was one of his most difficult projects.

"I probably wouldn’t do it again as it was so big. In the end it took me a lot longer than they usually do."

“I ended up having to build the inside of the stadium on one base and the outside and the stands on another. I couldn’t move it as it was so heavy - you could not really move it around without some effort."

“But the guy who ordered it was from Manchester and when I took it around and showed it to him he was delighted with it - he has it actually inside his coffee table in the middle of his lounge."
