Liverpool comedian John Bishop has come face to face with his own likeness today in Blackpool. The funny man from Merseyside is the latest to be immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds.

The stand-up comedian has been captured smiling in his trademark casual on-stage pose, and will take up permanent residence at the seaside attraction. He'll be in the company of other British comedy stars such as the recently inducted Paddy McGuinness as well as the two Ronnies, Russell Brand, Alan Carr and Graham Norton.
