Family demand answers after inmate dies of asthma attack in prison...

A family want answers after a young man died from a huge asthma attack just days before his release from Liverpool Prison. 25 year old Ashley Gill was found by staff at the jail in Walton.

His family have told of concerns raised previously by Ashley alleging that guards had taken his asthma inhaler from him.

An independent investigation will be carried out to establish the circumstances of the tragedy, and if Ashley could have been helped. His grandmother Annette says the family just want to find out exactly what happened.
