Police appeal after 14 year old kidnapped and raped

Police are appealing for witnesses after the abduction and rape of a 14-year-old girl in Manchester.

It happened on Wednesday at around 3:45pm, the girl was walking down Slade Lane and onto Hamilton Road in Longsight, when she walked past two men standing next to a car. One of the men tried to engage her in conversation, before dragging her into the car. She was driven to King Edward Street, where she was raped and sexually assaulted. She was then driven around, during which the attack continued, before being pushed out of the car in Levenshulme. She made her way to a nearby shop on Barlow Road, who then alerted police to the attack.

The first man is described as white, about 27-years-old, black hair, of slim build, wearing purple contact lenses and had a tattoo on his hip. He was wearing a black tracksuit and a red top.

The second man is described as white, about 20-years-old, pale, 6ft tall, with dark blonde hair, and of large and muscular build. He had a tattoo on his left leg under the knee, of Jesus holding a baby. He also wore purple contact lenses and spoke with a Manchester or Salford accent.

The car is described as small and black with a Manchester City Football Club scarf on the rear view mirror.
