A single mum from Sale Moor who started her top trend handbag business at one of the lowest points in her life has opened the shop she won in a competition.
Tracey Gibbons, 33, mum to Abbigail, 11, and Sophie, 2, narrowly took the top slot in the Dragon’s Den style competition entitled Win A Shop.
Her prize is a unit at the busy Stretford shopping hub free from rent, rates, insurance fees and service charge for six months and the doors opened today which is Small Business Saturday.
Tracey was one of more than 20 applicants who entered the contest and her dream of opening her own shop has become reality quicker than she thought.
