Detectives have arrested TV weatherman Fred Talbot over further allegations of historical sex abuse.
The presenter was arrested on suspicion of indecent assault and another serious sex offence, in relation to five former pupils at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys.
He was also arrested over an alleged indecent assault, said to have taken place in the North East of England.
Mr Talbot, 63, was previously a teacher at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys. He was originally arrested in April, over allegations of abuse against four ex-pupils. Police say there will be no further action over three of those accusations, but the forecaster remains on bail over one matter.
