Annie's a little miracle

An 8 week old baby from Liverpool is being called ''a little miracle'' after being born healthy against the odds.

John Bates and his partner Kerry Jones lost their first born son Jack to a severe form of muscular dystrophy in 2004.

Jack's condition was found to be genetic and John and Kerry feared they wouldn't be able to have another child. But thanks to a medical breakthrough, and the skill of experts at Alder Hey and Liverpool Women's hospital, they've just welcomed little Annie.
