£1m fundraising target for new autism school

The country's first ever school for autistic children who are currently below school age could be built in Manchester.

The condition affects 500,000 people in the UK - including thousands of children in the North West.

The proposed school, built by the Hearts and Minds charity, would initially cater for 25 children from the age of three.

They need to raise a £1m to build the school, and with the help of some familiar faces, they're already halfway there.
