Wallace and Gromit creator honoured at the Preston Guild celebrations

Preston is thanking the people who've contributed to the city's proud history as part of the Guild celebrations and this year, members of the public were asked to nominate who they think should be made an honorary Burgess.

A float in honour of Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park, who's from Preston, was created.

When the Guild first started people needed burgess status to trade in the city. Now its more about recognising the achievements of Prestonians.
