The inquest into the death of a man shot and killed while working as a private military contractor in Iraq has heard how his killer had been demonstrating symptoms of post traumatic stress.

Father-of-two Paul McGuigan, from Tameside, and Australian Darren Hoare were murdered in Baghdad in 2009 when Danny Fitzsimons, from Rochdale, opened fire.

He'd already been assessed as being a risk to others and experienced violent fantasies when he was given the contract.

The men worked for G4S at the time.

An inquest has resumed in Stockport on a security guard who was murdered by a colleague when he was working in Iraq.

Paul McGuigan was one of two people shot dead by Danny Fitzsimons, a former paratrooper from Rochdale.
