Halton McCollin was gunned down at a takeaway in Greater Manchester in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity.

Five years on from his death, his father says he feels a chill down his spine thinking about the gunman, and his accomplices, feeling no remorse for taking an innocent life.

Sister's heartfelt plea

Tuesday, 22nd January, will mark the 5th anniversary since Halton's death after he was senselessly shot at from behind on 19 January at the China Gardens takeaway on Stretford Road, Manchester. My brother had just turned 20 years old two months before.

We would like to make it known that this case has not been forgotten by the police or by anyone that loved Halton. We have to carry his untimely loss with us everyday. Halton was a loveable, caring and a respectful young member of the community who brought happiness to many people. We miss him dearly and are desperate for justice to be served.

20 year old Halton McCollin was shot dead whilst he waited at a takeaway in Stretford in 2008.

Despite a fifty thousand pound reward for information, no one has ever been held accountable for his death.
