Six in hospital after suspected gas explosion spreads fire to five homes

Investigations are underway after an explosion at a house in Rochdale.

Six people including three children have been taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation after the blast caused a house fire that spread to four other homes.

At the fire's height ten fire engines were on the scene on Lilac Avenue in Milnrow.
