Jose Mourinho: Manchester United were 'really, really unlucky' to lose
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has suffered his biggest ever home defeat as a manager.
United were hoping to come back fighting after a shock defeat at Brighton - but ended last night's match with a 3-0 loss to Tottenham.
Speaking to MUTV after the game, Jose Mourinho said he felt Manchester United did not deserve to lose - praising his players’ attitude and togetherness during his post-match interviews.
He said he felt the team had been "really, really unlucky".
Gary Neville has said that Jose Mourinho now faces "the biggest challenge he has had in football" - after he faced chants of "you're getting sacked in the morning" from the Spurs fans.
"The manager is always the person where the buck stops," he said on Sky's Monday Night Football.
"Jose Mourinho has been the most successful manager along with Pep Guardiola in the last 20 years in football and he is going through a difficult moment now over the last couple of seasons with Manchester United."
