Detectives searching for Steven Dyson, who has been missing since New Year's Day, have found the body of a man, Greater Manchester Police said.

Officers were called shortly after 10.30am to a report of a body in the river in Summerseat, Bury.

Police said the man's death is not being treated as suspicious.

Detectives are working to identify the man and the circumstances surrounding his death.
