Body found in search for missing Cindy Freeman-Jenkins

A body has been found in the search for missing Cindy Freeman-Jenkins.

Police were called to Blackley Cemetery, north Manchester, on Saturday morning. There were reports a body had been found at around 8.45am at the graveyard on Old Market Street. Formal identification has not yet taken place, but police believe the body is believed to be that of missing 31-year-old Cindy Freeman Jenkins.

She was last seen on September 12. Officers say there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.Cindy’s next-of-kin has been informed, police added.

Her wife and family made numerous appeals for help finding her in recent weeks.
