Woman's body found in Birkenhead

Merseyside Police have confirmed an investigation is underway following the discovery of a 30-year-old woman’s body in a property in Birkenhead on Sunday 16th April.

North West Ambulance Service reported the discovery at 1.15pm in a house in Deverill Road.

The scene has been cordoned off for examination and enquiries are underway in the area.

The woman has been formally identified and next of kin have been informed.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

A post-mortem will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
