15 years on: can you help police inquiry into missing man?
Police have made a fresh appeal for information, 15 years after the disappearance of a man from Merseyside.
Lyndon Nowell was last seen by his partner at their home in the Kirkdale area at 5.30pm on Thursday, 24 January, 2002.
He was seen later that same night at the Coronation pub on Childwall Valley Road between 8pm and 8.45pm when he drove off from the pub car park in a silver Ford Focus car (registration SA51 YNM).
He was alone at the time and has not been seen since. His car was found burned in the early hours of the following day on Blantyre Road in Swinton, Greater Manchester.
Detectives investigating Mr Nowell's disappearance are still appealing for anyone who may know of his whereabouts to contact them.
Mr Nowell is described as black, 6ft 3in tall and well built. When he was last seen he was wearing beige Armani trousers and a red/maroon top.
