Fire crews tackle huge fire at Lancashire car scrap yard

Firefighters are tackling a large fire at a car scrap yard in Altham, Lancashire.

Twelve fire engines and more than 60 firefighters are currently at the scene.

Lancashire Police said smoke was drifting onto the M65 between Rishton and Accrington, affecting traffic.

Police are asking people to avoid the area and advising residents nearby to keep windows and doors closed.
