Social services office targeted in shooting

Police say shots were fired into the door of a children’s services building in Harpurhey , Manchester in what is believed to be a 'targeted attack'.

The Manchester Social Services office was damaged and bullet shell casings were discovered close to the address, on Moston Lane.

Graffiti has also been scrawled across a glass door of the building, but it’s not yet known if this is connected to the shooting.

It is though that the shooting is a targeted attack on a social worker at the centre.
