Pictures show moment after lorry and tram collide

Twitter user Jordan Zako sent these pictures after a tram and a lorry collided causing a blockage for Metrolink services in Rochdale.

The collision took place on tram tracks at the junction of Drake Street and Milkstone road just before 9.40am on Monday morning.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police told the Manchester Evening News that both vehicles were left damaged after the collision, and that there were no reports of any injuries so far.
