Tom Daley backs Manchester to produce Olympic divers after opening academy in the city

Olympic bronze medal winning diver Tom Daley believes Manchester can produce future Olympic diving stars.

He's chosen the city's Aquatic Centre as the location for his first academy outside of London.

Daley, who won his bronze in the 10 metre platform in London 2012, delivered a masterclass to children from St Johns RC primary school in Chorlton today as part of the official launch of his latest academy.

The 21 year old is encouraging people of all ages and abilities to take up the sport.
