Rugby World Cup goes on tour as countdown to the event begins
One of the biggest sporting events of the year is moving ever closer - there are now just 100 days to go until the Rugby Union World Cup.
And today the famous Webb Ellis Trophy has begun a nationwide tour, which includes stops in the North West.
Blackburn-born 2003 World Cup winner Will Greenwood was at the launch of today's tour, alongside Prince Harry.
Prince Harry declared England will be "great hosts" of the tournament.
The prince, honorary president of England Rugby 2015, the organising committee staging the event, said: "Rugby is a game built on values - respect, pride, team work and discipline.
