Fan group demands club's sale in open letter to Blackpool owner Oyston

A group of Blackpool FC fans have written an open letter to Owen Oyston, calling on the club's owner to put it up for sale.

The Tangerine Knights describe the club's predicament as a "farcical situation" describing the team "marooned at the bottom of the league".

The letter goes on to urge Mr Oyston, who has owned Blackpool FC since 1988, to appoint a new chairman and chief executive and "start proceedings to sell the club".

Blackpool FC said it is making no comment in response to the letter.
