Celebs reveal embarrassing photos for children's charity
Celebrities from the region are revealing their embarrassing teenage pictures as part of a new foster campaign.
Manchester-born actress Lorraine Ashbourne, star of True Dare Kiss, The Street, Peak Practice, stage and film joins her husband, Andy Serkis, and other celebrities including Dame Joan Collins, in bravely revisiting the days of acne and dodgy haircuts.
Children's charity Barnardo’s approached celebrities for their ‘unseen’ teen pics as part of a new campaign to recruit more foster carers in the region. It's claimed 500 foster carers need to be recruited in 2015 in the North West to address a national shortfall: 25% more families than currently volunteer. The charity is asking members of the public to consider becoming foster carers and help create happy childhood memories for some of the most vulnerable children in the UK.
