Ryanair passengers 'stranded' at Corfu Airport

Ryanair passengers bound for Manchester from Corfu say they have been "left to fend for themselves" after flights were cancelled from the resort's airport.

Granada Reports has had contact from passengers who say they've been stuck at the airport since Sunday after a flight was cancelled due to bad weather.

Ashley Wright told tweeted us: "we had a Ryanair flight back on Sunday which was cancelled due to bad weather, we were taken to a hotel. We returned yesterday to Corfu airport at 9:30am and waited for our flight for 12:30 which never came, many of us received a text to say it has been cancelled and to rebook another flight or refund.

"There were no other flights out of Corfu until 9th. Told by ground staff that Ryanair have said we have to fend for ourselves"
