Manchester United will be heading to Hull for their Boxing Day fixture, on the back of four wins on the bounce.

Hull City are without a win since beating Liverpool for the first time in the club's history on 1 December.

Marouane Fellaini will miss the next six weeks after undergoing wrist surgery, but David Moyes has left the door open to Robin van Persie and Michael Carrick playing some part over the festive period.

Hull could be without their leading scorer and former Manchester United player Robbie Brady, who has a groin injury.

Steve Bruce became a favourite with the United faithful during his eight years with the club, forming an outstanding defensive partnership with Gary Pallister and popping up to score vital goals.

He joined Hull in 2012 and guided them back into the Barclays Premier League in his first season in charge.

In 2010, when the clubs last met, Wayne Rooney scored all four goals in United's 4-0 win.

Steve Bruce has yet to win against Manchester United in 19 meetings with his old club during his managerial career.
