Mother of Lia Green found guilty of cruelty
The mother of a little girl killed by her father has been found guilty of child cruelty.
A jury at Preston Crown Court took an hour and twenty minutes to find Natalie Critchley guilty of neglecting Lia by failing to seek medical help until it was too late.
The court heard how Lia died from massive internal injuries of the sort "normally seen in car crash victims".
Lia's father Richard Green pleaded guilty to manslaughter two weeks into his trial.
They will both be sentenced on 24 May.
